They love each other
But they are too afraid
To let give in to each other
To express that feeling that’s burning inside.
They’ve loved before
And got hurt in the process
They are afraid to get hurt again
So they’ve become too careful
Too careful to give it away.
And they end up hurting each other,
Because they don’t want to be hurt again.

You do indeed have a heart of Love for the hurting Gretiana and it’s very True what you shared, the fear of rejection is very strong for those who have been abandoned and wounded. Thankfully we never have to fear this with Jesus, He is constantly with us through the good but also during the bad as we see confirmed below, He is our Redeemer.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
